The Outback kayak is a delight to fish from. It is dry and comfortable. I can troll for hours without feeling tired. I can even rig a line while heading out to my favourite spot. Being close to the water on a stable platform makes it easy to release fish without causing undue stress. (They don't even have to leave the water). The fishfinder helps me to locate bait schools and individual fish. Knowing the depth of water helps to set deep diving lures so that they just reach the bottom without snagging. I carry a spray jacket in the centre hatch and lure retriever in the seat bag. Extra rods can be carried inside via the large front hopper hatch or even the centre hinged hatch. The turbo fins deliver good speed for comfortable effort.->Depth sounder is mounted on RAM mount within reach, for easy adjustment of gain, range, backlighting controls or simple screen angle adjustment. Trays at the side are handy for lures,tools etc
